Man U is playing without Gigs, lost to the Arsenal last week , and tied against Reading (crappy team, newbie on the premier league), last week barely won against Celtic at home.
Benfica is stronger by far than Celtic. Even tho Benfica is not playing that well in their league, they play hard at home and more importantly at the Champions, In front they've got Nuno Gomez and Simao who is on fire.

Also I'll add Real Madrid over 2.5-128 at 5dimes, they should be able to get the -1.5 but to make sure the over is THE play,

1 unit over 2.5 -128

Easy over. Anyone see how Benfica and Man Utd. played? I know Man Utd. won 1-0 but I was wondering if the effort from Benfica was close to Man Utd's effort.

I've watched English football and Man United for over 15 years now. I can honestly say that the first half Man Utd performance was easily one of the worst I have ever seen. Benfica completely dominated the first half, but never really threatened or created a good chance. They were restricted to long shots.

United were playing a 4-3-3 system with Rooney on the left. Rooney had a shocker, whilst Carrick and Scholes couldn't keep the ball or play a simple pass. In the second half, Benfica seemed a lot more tired, and United grew into the game with alot more composure. After they scored a beautiful goal, it just looked easy for them as Benfica lost their edge. So, it was a lucky win for Man Utd and a boring match, without many clear chances.
